Up to now thin film panels are most times built on a base of glass - but it‘s already proven that it‘s also possible to produce this panels flexible and without glass. Our production technology enables you already today to convert thin film materials - if it’s CIGS, CIS, CdTe or any other material - to finish solar panels.

	We deliver Reel-to-Reel equipment for back-end processes and our know-how, which is based on our long time experience in developing and constructing automatic turnkey solutions for the Smart Card, Smart Label, Semiconductor Backend and Vision industry. The know-how for the solar absorber material manufacturing is at the customers’ site.

Mühlbauer delivers for example the production technology for :


screen printing of front contacts with conductive paste	lamination of the solar cell absorber material onto a carrier foil	punching of solar cell structures in absober material with rotary- or flatbed-punching-units	testing and sorting of solar cells to flexible and glass solar panels
